Here’s a shot of the Porsche 928 with the finished roll cage all painted and purdy.
This roll cage  had to be made quickly because the owner was going to have it inspected and logged for the Mount Ascutney hill climb that weekend and then track testing on Monday at Lime Rock. ( I’m so jealous. [...]

Porsche 928 (the shark) update

This Porsche 928 is getting a full roll cage completely made out of 1.75″ X .095″. All the main cage welding is being done with T.I.G. (tungsten inert gas).
The lower connections are going to be M.I.G. (metal inert gas) welded. Most roll cages that I build are mostly mig welded with minimal tig welding. I [...]
