After prepping everything and forming the main hoop I then started forming the side hoops.

Once I had the side hoops finished and tacked into place I made the windshield bar and tacked that into place .

Now it was time for the sunroof, I used several plates to hold the sunroof into place so that i could weld it without distorting it .

Once the work on the sunroof was complete I started forming the bars that will be used for the roof protection.

This BMW is getting a V style roof protection, which gives better protection than a single diagonal without diminished head room space from an X configuration.

The windshield bar is reinforced wit gussets and the roof bars.
